We Are Required to Forgive Others

Jesus repeatedly taught that one of the requirements for us to be forgiven is to forgive all who hurt us. If we will not forgive others, He will not forgive us (see Matthew 18:21-35).
But how do we forgive others? Especially those who hurt us intentionally, repeatedly and deeply?

We Are Not Expected to Do It Alone

During his visit to the Nephites the Lord extended a tender invitation to the people: “Have ye any that are sick among you? Bring them hither. Have ye any that are lame, or blind, or halt, or maimed, or that are deaf, or that are afflicted in any manner? Bring them hither and I will heal them” (3 Nephi 17:7).
Our Savior has the ability to heal more than the body. He has the power to heal those who are “afflicted in any manner”.

Come Unto Him

The Lord can free us from the animosity and bitterness that hold captive our hearts, minds and lives. He has promised:
"Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
But how do we come unto Him to gain access to His help, tender mercies and grace?
This book is filled with stories, scriptures and quotes that provide insights into how we can "come unto Christ" and gain the spiritual power to forever forgive all who hurt and offend us.
In Jesus Christ there is peace and power to "wipe away all tears" (Revelation 21:4).
“This is a marvelous book. It is deep, spiritually nourishing, well-written, and highly readable. I loved the stories in it and I benefited greatly from it spiritually.” - Dexter B.
"This book came at a critical point for me, as I struggled to forgive someone who had hurt me deeply. We are often commanded in the scriptures and by our church leaders to forgive, but I had never been able to find a satisfactory description of the steps to forgiveness or what it feels like to truly forgive someone. Tim Carver’s book provided those answers for me, and set me on a path to ‘filling my heart with sweet forgiveness’. Thank you! What a gem!” - Kelly Q.
